Description Customer Service Representative (CSR)Position Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations through a variety of administrative and customer service functions. This role manages shipping and receiving documentation, inventory records, customer communications, and reporting activities to ensure the efficient flow of products and information. The CSR works closely with warehouse leadership, employees, transportation providers, and customers to deliver exceptional service and operational support.
- Process and monitor shipping and receiving transactions and related documentation, including receipts, bills of lading, orders, and shipment confirmations.
- Communicate effectively with customers, transportation providers, operations leadership, and team members via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain accurate customer and inventory information within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Monitor damaged, held, or exception inventory and coordinate resolution with internal teams and customers.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships through responsive communication and problem resolution.
- Research, resolve, and communicate inventory, order, inbound, and customer discrepancies.
- Prepare and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
- Support operational and administrative projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of customer service, administrative, logistics, or related experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong data entry and computer skills.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including AS400, is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Effective organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
