Responsibilities:

Serve as a mentor, role model, and facilitator providing guidance and academic support for students.

Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching, the teaching/learning process, and for individual students.

Apply your skills and experience to your assigned teaching schedule.

Participate in and contribute to assessment activities of courses, curriculum, and programs via a continuous improvement plan set forth by the university.

Contribute regularly to the improvement of class materials and syllabi within a shared governance culture.

Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to facilitate student learning and achievement of prescribed outcomes.

Maintain scholarly activities.

Participate in professional growth and service according to university policies.

Focus on student success and their development as healthcare professionals.

Leverage innovative technologies and resources effectively.

Your

Experience:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office products.

At least two (2) years of teaching experience in the subject area or formal training in instructional methodology.

Experience with online learning management systems.

Training in educational methods, testing, and evaluation.

Strong instructional methodology, delivery, and techniques.

Educational Requirements:

A minimum of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA.
At least 12 semester credit hours (or equivalent) in the subject area taught.

Salary Range: USD $37.72 - USD $54.69 per hour. Bonus Eligible:
