Job Description Summary
The Legal Fellow will staff the Justice and Immigration Clinic’s legal services project. As a licensed attorney, the fellow will provide immigration legal services to local community residents who are low-income or indigent. The Fellow will work onsite from the JIC office on the CLPS campus in Ontario, CA, under the supervision of the JIC Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish
- Culturally competent and trauma-informed interviewing skills
- Strong writing and legal research skills
- Detailed oriented.
- Immigration Law Practice—1 year of experience
- Familiarity with immigration case management software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
