Position OverviewOur client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer I/II to join their Ontario office. This role supports a wide range of land development projects - from residential and commercial sites to public infrastructure - focusing on design, technical execution, and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities- Develop engineering designs, calculations, and plans for grading, drainage, and utilities.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and agencies to ensure design compliance.
- Review submittals, RFIs, and change orders during construction.
- Provide quality assurance and oversee the work of junior staff.
- Contribute to a collaborative, problem-solving team environment.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5-7 years of civil design experience in land development or site engineering.
- EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong communication, technical, and mentoring skills.
