Apply Today! Starting Pay $78,000-$87,000 per year.
Responsibilities- Under general supervision, monitors and analyzes the clinical quality of assigned social skills groups; maintains group capacity; provides caregiver training; and provides supervision of direct reports. Functions as a liaison between organization, families, community, and health care providers to ensure a clear work flow of referral, screening, intervention, and transition of all participants receiving social skills services. Monitors the productivity of direct reports and maintains productivity standards as set forth by the agency
Creates regional inquiry lists of potential social skills participants. Initiates Trial exposures for participants to maintain group capacity of all assigned groups. Manages attendance compliance of a minimum of 80% across all groups assigned. Oversees the trial exposure process for all participants and associates. Monitors the accurate billing of direct reports across assigned social skills groups. - Creates initial treatment plans, generates progress reports and term reports of all social skills participants. Leads caregiver training activities, ensuring caregiver involvement and accomplishment of caregiver goals set forth within the authorized period of service. Connects families with community resources and agencies who serve children, as needed
- Leads a team a of Social Skills associates; analyzes data collected by the team and guides treatment decisions accordingly; initiates lesson plans for assigned groups; conducts regular staff meetings with team and provides ongoing direction and guidance
- Manages parent inquiries and reports parent concerns to Coordinator. Addresses associate inquiries and concerns. Maintains safety regulations set forth across all Easterseals Center Sites and reports all safety violations to Coordinator
- Conducts assessments, facilitates social skills groups and provides supervision to Social Skills associates and participants to meet monthly productivity requirements as set forth by the agency
- Maintains materials for Social Skills Group, re-stocking supplies as needed. Manages social skills administrative work tasks (creating materials, inputting data, purging data, etc.) of assigned Behavior Interventionists
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Typically requires a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in early childhood education/development, early childhood special education, special education, psychology or related field.
- Requires a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing or Marriage Family Therapist (MFT) or licensed psychologist.
- Three years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- 1-2 years’ of management experience; must possess strong clinical, administrative, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Expert knowledge of scientifically-validated methodologies and behavioral analytic approaches found to benefit children with ASD; familiar with current related research findings.
