Production Manager, Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Are you an experienced Production Supervisor with a background in food manufacturing? We are seeking a hands-on leader to oversee daily production operations, drive efficiency, ensure food safety compliance, and lead a high-performing production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency goals are achieved.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop production employees and team leads.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Enforce GMP, HACCP, FDA, OSHA, and company food safety standards.
- Conduct shift meetings and communicate production goals and performance expectations.
- Monitor staffing levels and coordinate labor resources to meet production demands.
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and waste.
- Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Planning teams to improve operational performance.
- Maintain accurate production reports, attendance records, and performance metrics.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
- 3+ years of Production Supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, food safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Experience managing large production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
- Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
- FDA-regulated food manufacturing environment.
- Continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma exposure.
- Experience with ERP or production management systems.
- Multi-shift manufacturing operations experience.
