Key Responsibilities Include

• Developing, adjusting, and optimizing formulations for skincare, cosmetic, household, and specialty products
• Preparing lab-scale batches and supporting scale-up and troubleshooting with production teams
• Conducting accelerated and real-time stability studies to determine shelf life
• Testing samples for appearance, pH, viscosity, specific gravity, weight loss, assay, and preservative efficacy
• Coordinating outside lab testing such as HRIPT, kill testing, and assay
• Collaborating with Sales and Project Management on customer projects and resolving out-of-spec results
• Maintaining accurate records of formulations, stability reports, and weekly activities
• Ensuring a clean, safe laboratory environment following safety protocols

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science
• Over 1 year of hands-on formulation or R&D lab experience in personal care, cosmetics, OTC, or consumer products
• Knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, and preservative systems
• Experience with stability testing, pH meters, viscometers, homogenizers, and analytical balances
• Strong Excel skills and meticulous documentation habits
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to grow into senior formulation roles
