Executive ChefFLSA STATUS: PT-Hourly (Non-Exempt)
COMPENSATION: $22.50 an hour

Position Summary:

Legends Global Ontario Convention Center, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Dishwasher position at Legends Global Ontario Convention Center. Responsible for Maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains sanitary and safe work environment. Maintains clean dry floors and walls at all times, including sweeping and mopping. Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine. Washes pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges, refrigerators and meat blocks. Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.

Hoses out or steam cleans garbage cans. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. Sets up, maintains, and works the dishwashing stations ps all china, glass, and silver in place and in order. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience/Training/

Education:

Experience in a food and beverage setting required.
License/Certificate:
Valid San Bernardino County Food Handlers Card Required  A valid food handler’s card is required for this position. The company will cover the cost of the training and compensate employees for the time spent completing the course. The certification must be obtained within 30 days of the hire date.

Skills and Abilities:

Basic food service health codes and sanitation standards.
Follow directions both verbal and written. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:  This position requires stooping and lifting.
