Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Clerk to join our Ontario, CA operation. This weekend role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys coordinating with drivers and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Recording drivers coming in OUTSIDE IN GUARD SHACK.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate daily with customers regarding delivery status
- Reconcile previous and current day deliveries
- Compile and generate Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Schedule and route drivers for deliveries
- Coordinate and direct delivery functions
- Bill deliveries using accounting software
- Generate invoices via freight payment systems
- Provide updates to Distribution Center (DC) on club status and requests
- Monitor driver progress throughout the shift
- Organize and file BOL's, invoices, and DOT documents
- Recap daily activities and communicate with the team
- Perform EDI entry and customer reporting
- Schedule appointments for deliveries, back-hauls, and vendor pickups
- Report monthly equipment mileage
- Reconcile IFTA mileage for compliance
- Call in roadside or other repair needs
- Cross-train in related functions as needed
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Strong customer service background
- Comfortable with computers and digital systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently OUTSIDE IN GUARD SHACK.
