Warehouse II Associate

The Warehouse II associate is responsible for picking, packing, put away and inventory accountability with minimal to no supervision required and can perform day to day functions with no direction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures timely and accurate processing of order fulfillment – direct to consumer/wholesale distributors/stock transfers
• Follows and adheres to order fulfillment and scanning guidelines, maintaining focus and accountability on movement of inventory through handheld scanner
• Shipment preparation - palletize, wrap, and band shipments as directed
• Ability to operate stand-up forklifts, sit-down forklift, order selectors and pallet jack
• Proactively communicate all issues related to products and orders to DC leadership
• Assist in meeting established KPI metrics as they apply to order fulfilment
• Assist in training of new associates and leads assigned projects
• Works as go-to or, back-up to other work or job functions within DC as needed
• Ensures all organizations safety rules and guidelines are followed
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment for all warehouse associates by practicing CAYGO (clean as you go)
• Performs other warehouse duties, as assigned

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office and other job-related applications
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Prior WH experience required
• HS/GED or 4+ years of WH experience required
• Ability to stoop, bend and lift 50lbs
• Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and effectively communicate with team members
• Must be able to work independently and understand RC analysis for problem solving

Working conditions are that of a standard distribution center; employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions and high noise levels.
