Travel ICU Registered Nurse

Job Details:

• Part-time position with every other weekend required

• Must have willingness to float to other campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) if census drops to maintain hours

• Typical staffing ratios are 3:1

• Must make up all missed shifts and find coverage if scheduled to work during requested time off

• If placed on-call, must return to facility within 1 hour

• Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days, no time off accepted for major holidays

• Minimum 2 years recent/consecutive ICU experience in hospital/acute care setting required

• Knowledge of medication scanning required

• Epic experience preferred

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

Required skills:

Management of dysrhythmias, arterial line management, central line care/management, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, assist with BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, suctioning (ETT, NT), isolation precautions/PPE

• Valid state license required (pending licenses not accepted)

• Up to 8 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start through Health Stream

• Smoke-free facility and campus

• Must provide two recent supervisory references with clean employment history
