Part Time Van Delivery Driver

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is hiring a Van Delivery Driver in Ontario, OH. The pay rate is $15+/hr, based on experience.

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 7AM-8PM, and Sunday, 9AM-6PM. The company offers competitive wages and benefits, including profit sharing, 401(k) plan, employee assistance programs, and employee discounts.

The role involves courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries of products with a variable daily route. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or a related field. A clean driving record and unrestricted standard operator's license are required.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately locating and picking orders in-store for wholesale customers
• Building and maintaining good customer relationships
• Keeping customers happy with accurate and timely deliveries
• Performing daily pre/post trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment

In-store responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases
• Accurately receiving and merchandising products

Requirements:

• At least one year of previous delivery driving experience
• One year in customer service or a related field
• Unrestricted standard operator's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
