Position SummaryWe’re looking for a strategic and detail‑oriented leader to manage Life Labs’ end‑to‑end RFP process—from opportunity identification and bid strategy to proposal development, business casing, and final submission. You’ll also oversee contract administration for our Long‑Term Care, Retirement Home, and Hospital segments, ensuring timely renewals and effective lifecycle management. This role can be based in Ontario or British Columbia, offering flexibility while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams across the organization.
WhatYou’ll Do Bid Review
- Monitor and review bid opportunities on platforms such as MERX, Biddingo, BC Bid, and Ariba, aligning with the Bid Owner on go/no‑go recommendations.
- Lead the development of bid strategies for approved RFPs, ensuring clarity, competitiveness, and alignment with business priorities.
- Identify and coordinate the resources needed within the response team to meet submission deadlines.
- Write, assemble, and edit comprehensive RFP responses by collaborating with subject‑matter experts and ensuring alignment to the defined strategy.
- Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to validate content accuracy and strengthen proposal competitiveness.
- Communicate bid strategies, key risks, and recommendations to executive‑level stakeholders.
- Oversee SME contributions and provide guidance when issues require cross‑departmental coordination.
- Lead Post‑Bid Debriefs, capturing lessons learned and sharing insights to enhance future submissions.
- Recommend process improvements and explore opportunities to integrate AI‑driven efficiencies into the RFP workflow.
- Maintain a centralized database of contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring renewals, amendments, and key milestones are proactively managed.
- Prepare and administer contract documents in collaboration with Legal and Sales Account Managers.
- Keep contract trackers up to date and share insights with relevant internal teams to support planning and execution.
- 5–7 years of experience managing complex RFPs, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- A university degree in Business, Health Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
