Shift: Day Shift

We are hiring a Registered Nurse for our Operating Room in Ontario. The nurse will provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team, including assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families. The role involves utilizing resources wisely, promoting well-being, maintaining accurate documentation, and serving as a patient advocate.

The nurse will perform hands-on care, delegation, assessment, care planning, patient and family education, and exercise judgment in nursing interventions, delegation, and medication administration.

• Current RN license required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required S and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

• Demonstrate knowledge of the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Provide competent care for all age groups as applicable.
• Ensure accurate documentation of services and supplies.
• Comply with hospital safety policies.
• Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
• Educate patients based on assessment needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans; communicate with team members.
• Administer and evaluate medications' effectiveness.
• Operate patient care equipment safely and advocate for patient rights.
• Provide measures to alleviate pain and communicate professionally.
• Integrate professional standards and hospital policies into practice.
• Meet unit-specific technical skills and comply with state nursing rules.
• New graduates are hired as Level I with potential for advancement; experienced nurses are hired as Level II with ongoing opportunities for growth.
