We support our Emergency Department at our Level IV Trauma Center in Ontario, Oregon. The Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Ontario is a 49-bed, acute care, not-for-profit hospital serving Ontario and the surrounding communities in eastern Oregon and southwestern Idaho.
The Day To DayWe are looking to hire a PRN shift Registered Nurses to support our Emergency Department at our Level IV Trauma Center in Ontario, Oregon!
Our Ontario Emergency Department has 15 beds to serve a diverse rural community of all ages. We partner with local EMS (ground and air) to ensure a smooth transition for the most critical patients who are admitted or transferred across our health system. We utilize an RN-driven primary nursing patient care model, which emphasizes teamwork. Our patients receive exceptional care in a community hospital with a small town feel.

- Prefer 1 or more years of RN experience in an emergency setting
- Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse at hire
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho (required within six months of hire)
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire
- TNCC certification required within one year of hire
