Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC) and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities include providing excellent internal service, external service, building restaurant sales and profit while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Key Duties / Responsibilities- Internal Service:
Recruit, select, train, develop and evaluate restaurant employees; monitor staffing levels; ensure training systems are fully implemented; develop internal candidates for management and next‑level roles. - External Service:
Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in operation; provide exceptional guest experience; maintain food quality and safety; respond promptly to guest concerns and improve service. - Higher Profits:
Partner with the Restaurant Manager to analyze financial performance; develop and execute action plans; monitor costs and adherence to budgets and goals.

Adapt to changing demands, make independent judgments, delegate and prioritize effectively. - Perform other related duties as required.
- Education
:
High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Experience
:
Minimum 1 year as Shift Leader or Assistant Manager; must be 100% certified in all workstations. Minimum 3 years as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility. - Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
:
Minimum 18 years old; complete Assistant Manager training;
Serv Safe certified; fluent English; strong interpersonal and math skills; organizational and planning skills; computer literacy; valid driver’s license. - Physical Requirements
:
Ability to stand, walk, lift 10–65 lbs, operate equipment, and drive a motor vehicle.
