• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and specialized potato-processing equipment such as conveyors and programmable logic controllers.
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Applies a proven and demonstrated history of responsible and safe electrical work with strong knowledge of NEC safety standards and other codes.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Tests malfunctioning machinery and collaborates with maintenance staff to diagnose issues.
• Replaces faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, and motors; positions sensing devices as appropriate.
• Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards.
• Reads blueprints and all types of electrical schematics.
• Replaces electric motor bearings and rewires motors as necessary.
• Operates equipment to test for malfunctions and verify repairs; plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.

• Journeyman Electrician License from the State of Oregon or a State with reciprocity (e.g., Idaho, Utah, Maine, Montana, Arkansas, Washington or Wyoming).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Familiar with automated control systems and able to read, understand and maintain electrical drawings and manuals.

• Pay: $47.35 per hour plus night shift differential.
• Schedule:
  
  Nights (6pm - 6am).
• Overtime is paid after 10 hours worked each day. Night shift receives an added differential on top of base rate.
