A successful candidate will play an active role in FMU's academic community. Responsibilities include teaching courses and participating in related activities such as lectures, labs, clinicals, performances, coaching, preparation, and student assessments.

• Deliver course content professionally as specified by the syllabus and directed by the Dean, director, or chair.
• Attend all scheduled classes.
• Be available to students for consultations before and after classes.
• Disseminate information effectively to students.
• Develop curricula and attend all faculty meetings and orientations.

• Handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
• Possess analytical, decision-making, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Work well with diverse groups and adapt to changing environments.
• Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, and accountability.
• Perform moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.

• Master’s degree in a related field and 18+ credit hours from a regionally accredited institution, with proven teaching and service experience.
• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
• Availability for extended hours and weekends when required.
• Pre-employment screening including background check and drug test.
