Follows all department and hospital policies and procedures to promote patient care. Transports patients in safe and timely manner and follows proper procedure for basic handling of catheters, tubes, equipment, monitors and oxygen. Greets and introduces self to patients and provides patient and/or staff with appropriate information regarding transport. Prepares and completes daily logs. Keeps all transport equipment clean. Maintains skills and training as necessary to provide required service.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum Experience

• Required Registration/License/Certification
  • BLS within 90 days of DOH/Transfer
• Preferred Education
  • N/A
• Preferred Experience
  • One year in customer service
  • One year of satisfactory employment
