Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Stepdown ICU position in an acute care setting requiring night shifts and current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

• Work in an Acute Care hospital setting on an ICU/Neuro Stepdown Unit
• Unit manages neuro stepdown and ICU patients
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (7p-7a)
• 36/48 hour rotation across two weeks
• Staff-to-patient ratio of 1:3
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Trauma Level 2 work environment
• 16 hours of orientation provided
• Position is for night shifts only
• Holiday coverage may be required as per unit needs

• Active AL or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience required
• Certifications required: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Experience with ICU/Neuro Stepdown patient care preferred
