Job Purpose

The Quality Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS), compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, meeting all customer quality requirements and all other regulatory compliance requirements. The Analyst must work closely with Team Members to ensure that all aspects of the QMS are understood, implemented, and maintained.

General Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
  • Perform training for G‑BPMS navigation and QMS overview for respective locations (new Team Member orientation, etc.).
  • Assure proper maintenance of Quality records.
  • Process Document Change Notifications (DCNs).
  • Perform internal audits to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions (QMS, Dock, Process).
  • Conduct follow‑ups on Corrective Actions from Internal/External Audit findings.
  • Attend and participate in Quality Market meetings.
  • Participate during third‑party Internal/External audits.
  • Assist other departments with investigations to identify root causes for internal and external quality audit non‑conformances, focusing on permanent corrective actions.
  • Ensure Quality Management System processes are followed and the Quality Policy is adhered to through HL Mando facilities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities designed to reduce poor quality.
  • Review required PPAP documentation during 4M changes for accuracy.
  • Provide cross‑functional Quality support as required.
Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study (Business, Management, etc.) or equivalent experience is required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor or experience with auditing principles.

Skills and

Competencies:

  • Proficiency with office equipment and computer programs such as Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
  • Understanding of Quality functions such as customer service, metallurgy, and metrology.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, LPA's & Quality Management Systems.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
  • Interpersonal skills; counseling and consultation skills.
  • Self‑starter who takes initiative in finding solutions to difficult and unique problems/opportunities.
  • Strong presentation/delivery skills; ability to moderate small to large groups.
  • Strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions
  • Primarily office‑based within a manufacturing environment.
  • Occasional presence on the production floor is required to support audits and quality activities.
  • May require extended hours to support audit readiness or continuous improvement activities.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for trade show materials or product demonstrations.
  • Visual ability to read and interpret detailed data and documentation.
  • Must be able to travel by car or air as needed.
  • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel‑toed or composite‑toed shoes when present on the production floor, per company safety policy.
