Our client, a leading nutritional supplement manufacturer, is seeking a Microbiologist I to join their Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
Job Title: Microbiologist I
Location: Opelika, AL
Pay Range: $25+/hour (Based on Experience)
- Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, products, and environmental samples.
- Follow GMP, USP, and laboratory procedures.
- Review test results and laboratory documentation.
- Support environmental monitoring and OOS investigations.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and work areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related science field.
- Basic knowledge of microbiology and laboratory practices.
- Laboratory experience preferred; GMP experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
