Job Description

The Cage Cashier executes guest monetary transactions at an assigned window bank, maintains accurate asset balances, and provides excellent customer service.

• Handle guest and company funds accurately by processing transactions in accordance with gaming regulations and company policies.
• Exchange gaming chips and tickets, cash checks, and process markers and fills.
• Maintain bank balances and safeguard casino cage assets during shifts.
• Assist guests with credit applications and maintain credit files.
• Issue window markers and safety deposit boxes to guests.
• Enter markers, fills, and credit slips into the computer system.
• Assist guests with inquiries and inform them about current promotions.
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure work stations are fully stocked.
• Stand for most of the shift as duties require.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in money handling or cashiering preferred.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of currency.
• Ability to operate calculators, computers, and money counters.
• Ability to bend, push, lift, and carry up to 26 pounds.
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications/licenses as required by gaming regulations.
