Director of Cath Lab

- Oversee daily operations and strategic planning for the Cath Lab within a CIS partner hospital.
- Supervise all lab personnel, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and supply purchasing to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and enforce departmental policies, ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Lead quality assurance efforts, monitor radiation safety, and maintain statistical reporting.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, and capital expenditures for lab services.
- Serve as a liaison between lab staff, physicians, hospital administration, and CIS leadership.
- Maintain excellence in patient care through high‑quality lab operations and clinical oversight.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and CIS standards to promote patient and staff safety.
- Lead initiatives to improve lab processes, enhance service delivery, and reduce operational costs.
- Support a strong team environment by promoting staff development and professional growth.
- Contribute to organizational goals by aligning lab strategy with CIS’s long‑ and short‑term plans.
- Foster respectful and effective communication with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Uphold professionalism and customer service in all internal and external interactions.
- A.S. or B.S. in Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist and/or Cardiovascular Technologist.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing with current licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Registered Nurses.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in cardiac catheterization with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- RN:
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); RT:
Basic Life Support (BLS).
