Regional Maintenance Manager - Opelousas, LA

Location: Opelousas, LA

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 3 days per week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday), 14 hours per day, with occasional additional days as needed

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year
• Bonus: Performance-based, potentially 12-15% of salary

• Lead and manage a maintenance crew of 7 technicians in a 1.2 million square feet facility
• Focus primarily on preventative maintenance
• Maintain 170 forklifts and manage 1400 individual assets, including conveyor systems
• Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and experience with 480-volt systems
• Uphold safety standards and work towards improving efficiency
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline maintenance processes

• Strong background in PLCs and experience with 480v systems
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a small, efficient team
• Previous experience in large-scale maintenance operations
• Military experience, particularly in the Air Force, Marines, or Navy (including submarine service), is highly regarded
• Excellent problem-solving and pressure management skills
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
