Nurse Practitioner - FNP & Peds

Overview

Seeking FNP with Peds experience.

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for caring for patients, maintaining accurate and current patient records and scheduling and administering follow-up appointments to patients as required. Works as a team with our nurses and physicians and will assist in delivering premium care to each and every patient.

• Performs initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations
• Updates patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Analyzes test data and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Delivers quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity
• Serves as the resource patients need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions
• Maintains current knowledge of clinical practice

Masters in Nursing required.

Nurse Practitioner (NP) Required
, Basic Life Support (CPR) Required

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred

• 1 year Nurse Practitioner experience preferred with Peds experience
• Ability to operate and handle many kinds of complex equipment
• Ability to demonstrate clinical competence and maintain current knowledge in caring for all ages of patients
• Ability communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of theory, principles, techniques and practice of professional nursing; of scientific principles and nursing research; of preparation, administration and actions of medications; of treatments and medical procedures; of counseling and teaching techniques; of medical equipment as it relates to patient care.
