Labor & Delivery RN – Nights (7P–7A)

Opelousas, LA | Labor and Delivery

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week | 8-Week Assignment

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery setting during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery
• Assist with and respond to obstetric emergencies using NRP and ACLS protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience in Labor & Delivery nursing

• Experience with high-acuity obstetric patients
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new clinical environment with minimal orientation
