The Payroll Executive is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all payroll-related information to the external payroll provider, guaranteeing a precise and compliant payroll process. In this role, you will act as the key point of contact for payroll-related matters and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and controls.

• Take overall responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of payroll and social insurance activities in collaboration with the external payroll provider
• Ensure the correct administration of family allowances, withholding tax, and payroll-related absences, including maternity leave, military service, unpaid leave, accidents, and long-term illness
• Review and approve the monthly payroll and ensure timely and accurate salary payments
• Lead and coordinate all year-end payroll activities
• Support the monthly reconciliation of payroll-related financial accounts in close collaboration with Finance
• Define, maintain, and continuously improve payroll processes, policies, and controls
• Coordinate internal and external People & Culture audits related to payroll activities
• Manage key interfaces with external partners, authorities, insurance providers, and pension fund representatives to ensure smooth and efficient collaboration
• Create and coordinate system enhancements (Change Requests) and support the resolution of system-related issues (Incidents)
• Serve as a trusted advisor to People & Culture colleagues and business leaders on payroll-related topics
• Lead payroll projects and contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives, ensuring timely and high-quality implementation
• Several years of experience in payroll, payroll accounting, or social insurance administration
• Strong knowledge of Swiss payroll processes, social security regulations, and pension fund administration
• Advanced Excel skills combined with strong analytical capabilities
• Experience with SAP and/or Workday is an advantage
• Structured, independent, and reliable way of working
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and ability to influence and drive outcomes
• Fluent German and good business English language skills
