Payrate: $17.50 – $24.50 per hour based on experience.
- Support production operations by preparing, assembling, and finishing fiberglass pools and related parts.
- Safely operate hand and power tools in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and company safety policies.
- Assist with positioning, fixing, and aligning components during installation and finishing processes.
- Participate in daily pre‑start meetings and safety briefings, contributing to open communication on workflow and risks.
- Perform cleaning, packaging, labeling, and housekeeping duties in accordance with 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job travelers (production work instructions) to ensure consistent quality.
- Inspect parts for defects and immediately report quality or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
- Accurately record materials usage, time, and progress on production forms or digital systems.
- Assist with basic maintenance, tool setup, and area readiness under supervision.
- Adhere strictly to PPE requirements including safety footwear, eyewear, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Demonstrate teamwork, respect, and reliability in all interactions with peers and leaders.
Skills and Abilities
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or mechanical assembly.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive movements safely.
- Effective communication and teamwork in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Adaptable to changing production schedules and willing to learn new skills.
- OSHA 10‑Hour Safety Course (preferred; or can be completed after starting).
- HAZCOM and PPE training (provided during onboarding).
- Forklift / Gantry / Confined Space training (preferred; or can be completed after starting if required).
- Manual handling and ergonomics training (provided during onboarding).
- 6S and new‑hire orientation (provided during onboarding).
Performance will be reviewed through regular evaluations and continuous feedback discussions. Key metrics include:
- Safety compliance and incident‑free performance.
- Quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications.
- Productivity, punctuality, and attendance.
- Team collaboration and contribution to positive workplace culture.
- Initiative and participation in process improvement activities.
