Labcorp invites qualified individuals to join our team as an IOP Phlebotomist
. This position involves providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and serving as an ambassador for our company.
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and related procedures.
- Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or prior experience as a phlebotomist.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Able to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
