Caregiver, Home Health Aide

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals to become part of our Baldwin County team and help us fulfill our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in our community. We provide various non-medical services that enable seniors to remain in their homes and face aging with dignity, care, and compassion. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with personal care
• Mobility assistance
• Incontinence care assistance
• Transportation to and from appointments and errands
• Alzheimer's/dementia care
• Knowledge of how to use a Hoyer lift and/or a gait belt

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Clear criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a good driving record
• Positive employment references and stable work history
• Pass a drug screening
• Dependability and reliability
