Assistant General Manager

Island House Hotel - a Double Tree by Hilton invites applications for the position of Assistant General Manager (AGM).

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team and help drive operational success.

Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining brand standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem‑solving skills, and a hands‑on approach to managing staff and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in managing all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards and local regulations.
  • Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail.
  • Monitor financial performance, assist with budgeting, and control costs.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain a high‑performing workforce.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to maximize revenue.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of hotel management experience, preferably in a branded property.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, financial reporting, and revenue management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in property management systems and Microsoft Office.
