Minimum

Skills And Abilities

• Ability to work well with others in achieving goals of the Security Department.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team member.
• Can effectively work under pressure.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walk stairs and able to lift 40 pounds.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

• Guards, patrols, monitors, and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to Brett Robinson properties.
• Performs physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping.
• Raise/Lower American Flags and beach condition flags.
• Notifies police/fire departments in case of emergency situations.
• Monitors Security Cameras covering the assigned property.
• Completes reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Monitors and Reports safety hazards.
• Provides information, directions, and courteous assistance to condominium owners and guests.
• Checks vehicles on property for appropriate parking passes.

Working Conditions

• Ability to work flexible hours, seven days a week.
• Required security uniform apparel must be worn.
• Adhere to company grooming and uniform standards.
• Reports to Director of Security and Shift Commander.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be able to obtain a State of Alabama Security Guard License.
• Satisfactorily complete a Brett Robinson Security Certification Class/Evaluation.
• Must pass a Background Investigation.
• Successfully complete a drug urinalysis test.
• Experience in Military, Law Enforcement, or as a First Responder is beneficial.
