EHS ManagerWe’re partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company in search of an EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives at their flagship production facility
—the heartbeat of their operation where all products are made. This is a high‑impact role for someone ready to roll up their sleeves and build on the foundation of an evolving safety culture.
- Lead and implement comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety programs across the facility, with a proactive, people‑first approach.
- Serve as the site subject matter expert on EHS matters, including OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and corporate safety initiatives.
- Manage and maintain regulatory compliance programs including injury prevention, chemical safety, hazard communication, and waste management.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions, identifying root causes and creating practical safety solutions.
- Drive training and engagement programs to ensure understanding and adherence to EHS policies at all levels.
- Partner with cross‑functional leaders in operations, HR, maintenance, and quality to integrate safety into every process.
- For one site: oversee ammonia safety and PSM (Process Safety Management) programs and emergency response plans.
- Regularly interface with regulatory agencies and corporate teams during audits or inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of EHS leadership in a manufacturing or food/beverage production environment.
- Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state regulations; strong track record of compliance and risk mitigation.
- Experience with ammonia‑based refrigeration systems is highly preferred for one location.
- Strong communicator with the ability to lead teams, influence change, and drive continuous improvement.
- Comfortable wearing a hard hat and safety boots—this is a boots‑on‑the‑ground leadership role.
This is an incredible opportunity for an EHS professional who thrives in fast‑paced, evolving environments and wants to leave their mark on a growing organization. If you’re passionate about safety, leadership, and continuous improvement—this is the place to do it.
