GENERAL SUMMARY: The Assistant Team Leader maintains store organization, supports the Store Team Leader in creating a customer-focused environment, supervises staff, manages merchandise presentation, and performs cashiering and stocking duties to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

• Provide excellent customer service, greet customers, operate registers.
• Support a customer-first store culture.
• Model product knowledge, maintain a clean, safe, and organized store.
• Assist with merchandising and product displays to drive sales.
• Help educate the team about products to enhance the shopping experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and reset standards daily.
• Assist with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, and inventory control.
• Ensure financial integrity through cash handling and security procedures.
• Support store management in absence, including opening and closing.

Knowledge and Skills: Ability to interpret documents, perform calculations, handle cash procedures, develop organization, solve problems, and communicate effectively. Strong product knowledge and merchandising skills are preferred.

Experience/Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail and supervisory experience beneficial.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 lbs.
• Exposure to various environmental conditions and cleaning products.
• Ability to drive for bank deposits and store support.
