Primary Care Physician

Position at Coastal Health, Orange Park/Fleming Island.

• Provide and manage comprehensive patient care, including physical exams, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate care across disciplines as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a team.
• Participate in health promotion, patient education, and disease prevention programs.
• Adhere to departmental policies, quality standards, and infection control procedures.

This is a 100% outpatient position — no inpatient coverage required.

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility for licensure).
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration.
• No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension.

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.).
• 3–5 years of directly related experience (including residency).
• Federal DEA Certification.

• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to assess, observe, and document patient symptoms and progress.
• Knowledge of current medical care standards, pharmaceuticals, and treatment protocols.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
• Experience training or mentoring clinical staff is preferred.
