We are seeking a Recreational Therapist/Activity Therapist to provide clinical expertise and deliver recreational therapy to patients in our acute care setting. The role is a PRN (Part‑time) position.

As a Recreational Therapist/Activity Therapist
, you will assess patients, design and implement individual and group therapeutic activities, facilitate support groups, and track progress in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. You will also provide patient and family education and coordinate community resources as needed.

• Provide activities for patients admitted to the program, following the group schedule and delivering holiday activities on assigned dates.
• Attend treatment team meetings and document progress in treatment planning updates.
• Conduct individual activity assessments for each patient within given time frames.
• Write summaries of initial assessment, evaluation, treatment, and progress in the medical record.
• Deliver individual, group, and family sessions as indicated by the patient treatment plan.
• Facilitate support groups to address patient/family needs.
• Contact community resources to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about the inpatient unit and provide ongoing support.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related field.
• Appropriate certification, registration, or license in the designated field per national and state practice requirements.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist Credential (CTRS) highly preferred.
• 1–2 years of therapeutic activity experience in a psychiatric or acute care setting preferred.
