Companion Caregiver Part Time CNA HHA

About the role

Assisting Hands – South Jacksonville is hiring Companion Caregivers who love conversation, routines, and helping seniors stay independent. This role is ideal for students, retirees, or anyone wanting meaningful part-time work close to home.

$16.00–$20.00 per hour

Part-time (with option to add shifts)

2–6-hour visits; mornings/afternoons; 2–4 days/week; some weekends

Clients within ~30 minutes of your home

• Social companionship, engagement, and routine check-ins
• Light housekeeping (dishes, linens, tidy-up), meal prep, hydration reminders
• Errands and local transportation to appointments/shopping
• Safety supervision and fall-prevention awareness
• App-based clock-in/out and simple shift notes

• Access to early pay
• Flexible scheduling with predictable routes (within ~30 minutes of home)
• Paid mileage when serving multiple clients in one day

• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance; reliable vehicle
