We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at Orange Park Medical Center. The role requires a clinical background and focuses on providing efficient, high‑quality patient care in a supportive and compassionate environment.

• You will prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs.
• You will prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments, including pre‑procedure setup and maintenance of supplies and equipment (e.g., sterilization).
• You will give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
• You will assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
• You will answer telephone calls to the practice and screen referrals.

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience OR current Medical Assistant certification.
• For those lacking certification, completion of a certification within one year of hire (or a clinical MA certification within 60 days for recent graduates).
• Preferred active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification/A
  -OE credentials.
