American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a combined MSICU/CVICU unit requiring BLS and ACLS certification.
Requirements- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- License required if applicable
- Must be able to function well independently
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Work in a combined 20-bed Medical Surgical ICU and 20-bed Cardiovascular ICU
- Staffing includes 7 day shift and 6 night shift respiratory therapists
- Patient ratios estimated at no more than 6 vents per therapist
- Uses PB840, PB980, Hamilton C1, and MR1 ventilators along with Bipap V60
- Documentation completed in Meditech
- Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- No call requirements
- Perform bedside bronchoscopy, ventilator management, and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures
- Scrub color requirement is light grey
- Facility recognized among 100 Best Hospitals by Health Grades and received a Pulmonary Care Award
- Local candidates will not be considered
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
