Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department, state, and specialty standards. In collaboration with medical providers and the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models. The RN serves as an advocate for patients and families and supports the organization’s vision, mission, and values to achieve exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes.

• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Teach patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures. Translate complex medical terminology to support understanding.
• Educate patients and families about non-medical follow-up measures (e.g., healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, lifestyle changes) and prepare them for future self-management.
• Manage evidence-based practices and continuous process improvement initiatives to meet quality measures and enhance patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that supports recovery.

• RN – Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
