The Imaging RN will work closely with all imaging staff  quality of the care given will be in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and the Medical Imaging Department. The Imaging RN assists physicians during invasive procedures, treatments, and examinations, administers medications, and assists in pre‑ and post‑assessment. Registered Nurses are advocates and health educators for patients, families, and communities.

They develop and manage nursing care plans, instruct patients and their families in proper care, and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain their health.

Assist physicians during invasive procedures, treatments, and examinations; administer medications; conduct pre‑ and post‑assessment; develop and manage nursing care plans; educate patients and families; advocate for patient safety; collaborate with imaging staff; maintain compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Associate Degree, RN Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
