We are seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pre‑Operative (Pre Op) team on a PRN (as needed) basis in Orange Park, FL. The LPN will provide high‑quality nursing care to patients preparing for surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and understanding throughout the pre‑operative process.

• Document vital signs, medical history review, and medication reconciliation in a Pre‑operative setting.
• Independently start IVs and prepare patients for outpatient surgical procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the physician or RN.
• Document all nursing care and patient interactions accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized pre‑operative environment.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed by supervisor.

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Florida.
• Current IV certification within 60 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a surgical or pre‑operative setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed.

This position is based in a fast‑paced surgical center environment in Orange Park, FL. The LPN will interact directly with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal pre‑operative care.
