Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy; use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service; recommend items; take inventory; maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised.
• Perform duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including entering prescription data, verifying medication accuracy, and supporting pharmacy workflow.
• Adhere to company policies, pharmacy code of conduct, and state/local regulations.
• Respond to calls, process manual claims, support inventory management, and assist with visual merchandising and general store operations.
• In the photo area, provide digital passport and creative machine services and assist with pick‑up responsibilities.

• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a retail environment (prefer six months).
• Prior work experience with Walgreens (prefer).
• Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification (prefer).
