Our client is a premier manufacturer/distributor of natural stone products, and is searching for an experienced Category Manager.
Summary: This position assists the merchant on a daily basis with product development and inventory planning. It includes working with sales teams in suggesting inventory availability and product alternates, and communicating product details, pricing, sizes, and other information to all associates.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM, one Saturday a month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities- Partner and assist Product Leaders on product development, product lifecycle and portfolio management, pricing strategy, customer penetration collaboration, profit optimization, inventory flow management, and strategic global sourcing.
- Analyze and execute quickly, tackling multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Deliver and execute decisions quickly with robust reasoning and analytical corroborations.
- Provide exceptional leadership skills in managing up- and down-, ensuring constructive decision‑making processes.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, humility, self‑awareness, and know when/how/ much to engage in collaborative processes.
- Take a hands‑on, SKU‑by‑SKU approach with obsession for reasoning and quantification.
- Show high curiosity and propensity to ask the right questions.
- Be aggressive in execution but fluid and agreeable in collaborative settings.
- Have practical experience in inventory planning.
- Demonstrate proven quantitative, reasoning, leadership abilities, and comprehensive understanding of product development, inventory management, or strategic sourcing.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (preferred).
- Superb quantitative, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- High comfort with detail work.
- Complex Excel modeling experience.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience.
- Experience in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Proven ability to drive complex execution processes, including managing people who may not have reporting relationships.
