Senior Construction Project Manager

Overview

The candidate must have experience in managing multiple, multi discipline TI and ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects from start to finish. The candidate will be able to manage client and subcontractor contractual obligations taking into account project timelines, completion, communication, documentation, safety and risk identification and mitigation planning. This individual should have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

The candidate will be exposed to commercial aerospace and Federal projects of various types.

• Direct and oversee completion of multiple all discipline minor and major construction projects
• Attend job walks, develop schedules, SOW response and submit bid response package
• Develop plan of action including detail schedule, identify resources required and work plan
• Assess risks and establish contingency plans
• Develop, implement and execute risk mitigation, safety and quality assurance plans
• Prepare, maintain and present monthly management project cost review forecasting and establishing positive profit

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management for commercial and industrial construction, including ground-up and TI projects
• Demonstrated track record delivering on time and profitable projects
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working with a team
• Business development experience is a plus with profit sharing
• Must be located to work in Southern California and work daily from Orange County corporate office and client sites
• Must be a US citizen to work at Federal sites
