We introduce soccer to children ages 2-8 onsite at preschools all over the Orange County area. Through the revenue generated by the classes you run here in Orange County, we financially sponsor 1,500 children in Cameroon (West Africa) and 300 more in Peru (South America).

Classes are Monday through Friday in preschools and Saturdays and Sundays at park programs in select locations, 30-45 minutes for each session depending on age. We provide training, coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials. This part-time soccer coach position is available immediately. We prioritize coaches who can be available for multiple sessions through the week and particularly for afternoon sessions (most afternoon classes start setup at 2:45pm).

• Availability – Minimum 3 weekday afternoons preferred (shifts spread out between 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM) as well as working Saturday and/or Sunday mornings (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM).

• We are looking for people who could see themselves working here for at least a year, provided it’s a good fit. Children thrive when they have consistent coaching; 3 current coaches have coached here for more than 9 years.
• Fun & Silly – must enjoy teaching young children; goal is to make Soccer Shots the best 30-45 minutes of each child’s week.
• Reliable transportation – safe, reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
• Background check cleared – must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
• TB test results

• Experience working with children
• CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain if needed
• Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (preferably children ages 2-8)
