Job DescriptionThe Energy practice is seeking a T&D Deputy Project Manager
. This role performs project management tasks on energy projects such as transmission, distribution, and substation development.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, self‑directed individual with strong technical potential to develop and deliver innovative energy projects.
Responsibilities- Work with interdisciplinary technical leads for coordinated project execution.
- Interact with clients and support proposals.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/subcontractors for project execution.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost to minimize risk.
- Report and elevate issues to management as needed.
- Perform budget updates and validate estimates to completion.
- Maintain project documentation control.
- Work in a team environment (virtual and periodic office presence).
- Support development of technical proposals.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in transmission lines, substations, or related energy field (consulting, engineering, solar/renewable).
- Occasional travel within the United States.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
- Sponsorship for U.S. Employment Authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
Compensation: USD 75,000 – USD 100,000 per year.
