Hearing Representative | Workers Hybrid

Mission Recruiting is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Hearing Representative on behalf of a respected firm in Orange, CA. This firm is looking for a skilled professional with experience in workers’ compensation defense to represent clients in hearings and proceedings before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).

• In this position, you will advocate for clients in mandatory settlement conferences, status conferences, priority conferences, expedited hearings, and trials. The role also involves lien resolution negotiations and regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and judges to drive case resolutions.

• Represent clients in hearings, trials, and settlement conferences
• Negotiate and resolve liens
• Draft and review pleadings, settlement documents, and correspondence
• Provide strategic recommendations for case handling
• Stay up to date with California workers’ compensation laws and regulations

• Experience in workers’ compensation defense as a hearing representative or similar role
• Knowledge of WCAB procedures and California labor laws
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
