Litigation Associate – Hybrid; commercial litigation, white collar defense exp

Our client, an Am Law 200 firm, is seeking highly qualified associates with a minimum of three years of litigation experience to join their dynamic and high-profile Trial, White Collar, and Investigations practice in California or New York. The group handles a wide range of complex disputes across industries and subject areas, including business and commercial litigation, white collar defense and investigations, consumer protection, employment, entertainment, financial services, healthcare litigation, intellectual property, patent litigation, and data privacy.

The team operates collaboratively across offices and practice areas, providing associates with exposure to a variety of challenging matters and strategic client work.

• 3 to 6 years of substantive litigation experience, ideally including commercial litigation, white collar defense, or investigations
• Hands‑on experience with legal research, drafting pleadings and briefs, discovery, depositions, witness interviews, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Judicial clerkship experience (preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
• Team‑oriented mindset with the flexibility to work across disciplines and offices
• Proactive, solution‑oriented approach to complex legal issues
• Admission to the California or New York Bar in good standing
